Other reasons to get a rotating tray includes a fancy evening meal at home for guest. That is why getting a large lazy susan makes a nice addition to your kitchenware. Choosing the best out of all the available ones in the market can be tricky, but knowing a little historical value about the thing helps improve your decision abilities.

The name often refers to table top tray that rotates 360 degrees to serve food for all the people seated. However the name was first surfaced in 1917 on a magazine as an advertisement to entice women who runs an empire at home to buy. This device is best known for its ability to revolve and hold condiments throughout the past century in the English speaking countries.

Extroverted people enjoy their meals out in parks and other crowded places. These types of people enjoy gathering with others over delicious scrumptious food as they talk and whine and rant about their miserable god forsaken lives while smiling about it. While introverts prefer the comforts of their own space at home with close friends and family at their side, or if they just want to use a rotating table to kill time.

These things often come in two or three tiers. In that sense you could go crazy organizing which tier needs to have the food, or the condiment, or whatever else you think is edible should go there. This device originated from the humble concept of one man who used to work in the basement of a chinese restaurant.

These devices became popular way back in eighteenth and the beginning of the nineteenth century. However the new term dull surfaced during 1906 when a house keeping magazine was advertised in a colony. However its origins are still mysterious even today.

Other uses that this man made tool is for cake decorating, this is mostly seen in many culinary schools with students learning to design and create works of tasty art. Some use this contraption to hold up a spice rack, rotate a monitor or tv. But in analogy this term lazy susan mostly denote general cabinets and usually corner cabinets.

Some high level or multi tiered lazy susans are often called busy susans because they serve more food than any single centerpiece could. Adding this to beautify your home and kitchen should be a priority if you have problems with your back or dislike disturbing other people who are eating. Whatever you need a silent mechanical machine always saves the day.

Lazy susans come in different sizes and colors. Colors often range from cherry, auburn, or even dark brown. These things mostly cost between under a hundred or more dollars depending on the type of material used. Whether you use it for your dining table or in living room this piece will surely liven up the home.
